We offer a 12-month warranty on our products from the date you receive them. The warranty will only cover faults or breakdowns in products due to defect in materials or workmanship. The warranty will not cover failure due to the lack of routine maintenance, incorrect installation, wear and tear, accidental damage, damage caused by negligence, damage caused by misuse or unauthorised modification to the product without our permission. We can only apply warranty to the initial purchaser of the product and proof of purchase will have to be provided. All electrical/hydraulic parts/components must be returned to us, and we will return them to the manufacturer for testing before a refund/replacement will be issued. All products should be returned to us for inspection before a refund/replacement will be issued. It is your (the customers) responsibility to ensure that you get our products fitted by a fully qualified engineer and follow the original manufacturer’s instructions. We do not accept liability for loss or loss of earnings due to faulty products.
We are a VAT registered customer in GB, all our products are priced plus VAT. A VAT invoice will be provided with the products. EU members who provide a valid VAT number will be exempt from paying VAT. Before the part will be dispatched the VAT number will be checked with the appropriate authorities for validation and the parts will be delivered to the address the number is registered to. J B Barrett Tractors will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage relating to the parts, products or machinery supplied by us. Our warranties are extended as far as those given to us by our suppliers. Labour costs will not be covered by warranty. The onus is on the customer to have full insurance on the items supplied, for the use of the purchaser or purchased in the intent to re-sell.

The delivery cost for your purchase is displayed when you select the delivery method at the checkout. We offer nationwide delivery and in-store collection for the majority of our items. All delivery times on this website are estimates, are subject to stock availability and do not consider any possible delays. Please note that “Working Days” applies through Monday-Friday as our couriers do not deliver on the weekends. J.B.Barrett Tractors cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by “late” delivery of goods. The delivery cut-off time for this website is between 1.00pm to 3:30 pm depending on the brand and type of goods being supplied. Any goods placed after these times may need an additional 24 hours to the delivery time. For orders in Band 1 (0-29kg), an email is sent out with the tracking information of your order. For orders in Band 2 & 3, we are in direct contact with the courier and can arrange an update on your order between working hours if your order has taken longer to arrive than previously stated on the order after despatch.
Where more than one product has been ordered but not all are available for immediate despatch, we may delay supply the available stock right away and the remainder once it is available. We may also hold the order until all the items are available and ready to be supplied. We will notify and update the customer as soon as possible during these circumstances.
If J B Barrett has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, we will notify you as soon as possible to either offer an alternative item (to the same value) or we will credit your card for the cost of the unavailable goods. J B Barrett will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
It is up to the buyer to ensure that the person who signs for the goods is entitled so to do. We cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred once delivery to the address you have specified has been made. Goods must be inspected before being signed for to ensure they are the correct goods and are free from damage. J B Barrett reserves the right to deliver certain orders to the Billing Address only. Customers will be notified by email if this is the case.
If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase and would like to return the item, we are happy to offer you a refund within 14 days of receipt of your item. The product must be in new, unused condition with all the original packaging. In this case, the buyer must cover the return postage costs. You will be given a full refund for the items returned via the method of payment you used when ordering the goods. Credit and debit card refunds may take up to 10 days to be processed by your bank. It is your responsibility to pay for postage of returning the items to us.
When posting the goods back to us we require you to use a reliable and insured delivery service with tracking. This ensures that the delivery will be received by us as we will not be able to refund any returns should they be lost.
